Happy Monday Everyone! A few weeks ago I was asked by a writer that I’ve worked with in the past if I could help provide some expert commentary on a piece she was working on entitled, “35 Skin-Loving Smoothies and Masks You Can Make with a Blender”. She wondered if I had any recipes that I use at home (and share with my clients) that are healthy, easily made and do wonders for your skin.

Do I ever! I immediately told her about a smoothie I make at home on a weekly basis. This is my all-time favorite smoothie to drink when I’m feeling like my skin needs a total pick-me up. It’s packed with antioxidants that not only prevent future damage to the skin but also help repair. My favorite two ingredients in the smoothie are the turmeric—I swear that it helps erase dark circles under my eyes and the hemp seeds—hemp seeds are miracle workers! Hemp seed oil helps improves the skin’s elasticity and water retention making your skin look more supple and youthful! I see a difference in my skin almost immediately after drinking this!

You can read the article that I was featured in here: http://www.thefashionspot.com/beauty/788445-diy-skin-care/#/slide/1. Forward to smoothie number 29 for my contribution.

And for your records, here’s my all-time favorite supple skin smoothie recipe. As the summer is upon us and we’re spending more time out in the sun, I hope you’ll use this weekly to help repair and restore your skin. Enjoy it! Xx Janine
